The good old days...

It's that time of year again. You'll find frantic mums sobbing in the homeware aisles of the supermarkets while they pick up frying pans and duvets for their fledglings. There seems to be a national shortage of cardboard boxes and coat-hangers.  Forget going to the bank for anything -  you'll be stuck queuing behind a sea of 18 year olds eager to get their grubby little hands on their student overdraft (or 'free money' as they see it). Yes, it's time for the next generation of bright sparks to venture off into the big wide world of University.
